What are cookies and pixel tags?
Cookies are small text files websites place on your computer as you browse the web. Cookies collect certain information about how you use and interact with websites, and help improve your experience by allowing you to log in less frequently, remember settings, or deliver more personalized advertisements on those sites. Cookies also allow websites to collect anonymous statistics about how visitors use their services, allowing for more effective optimization and improvements.
Pixel tags are small image files placed on webpages and some emails. They help website and service providers determine whether users engage with certain content.
How does Crew use these technologies?
- Authentication: to help protect your account by verifying your identity, and making it easier for you to log in and get to work.
- Analytics: to measure how you use the site, including pages visited, length of visit, and clickpath. We also collect anonymous information about your device, including OS, screen size, and browser version. We use this information to improve our service.
What are my privacy options?
Users have several ways to opt-out of or disable cookies. However, note that disabling cookies completely may interfere with the service and cause the Crew Platform to not function properly. Most browsers allow you to control how you accept cookies and choose whether to receive third-party cookies or first-party cookies only. To opt-out of Google advertising cookies, including Doubleclick, update your Google Ads Settings https://www.google.com/settings/ads. To opt-out of several third-party cookies at once, visit the Digital Advertising Alliance’s consumer choice tool http://optout.aboutads.info/.
